Where and when will they have learned so many things ? We don't know the answer, but in the old days, we used to say that wisdom teachers remembered everything they had learned during their past lives. Truth or legend? In any case, through their knowledge, their artistic or relational qualities and above all through their actions, these teachers of wisdom are examples that can_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_inspire us about our inner or spiritual path.
5 films about the life of great Masters of East and West

For this first cycle of essential cinema, we propose four films and two documentaries, based on the lives of great masters of wisdom from the East and the West: Sufi masters from the Middle East; the Japanese masterpiece on the way of Zen by Master Dogen; the life of Confucius in China and teachers like GI Gurdjieff and Selim Aïssel in the West.
The projections are made in the “Ciné Esencial” style at Cityzen Barcelona space in El Born: brief presentation of the film + projection + coffee/tea with debate (each bringing something to eat too if you want) in a relaxing environment. From 7:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on a Thursday or Wednesday per month.
