The Arkanas, the secret of eternal youth

Its specific chains have an in-depth action on all organic systems as well as on energy circulation.

According to the Sufis, its practice should lead to the development of all dimensions of human nature.

La attention on the move

The fundamental element of the practice and that which will allow beneficial transformation is attention: attention to one's own gestures, postures, breathing; attention to emotions and thoughts that arise. The practice of the euphonic movements is, in fact, the privileged opportunity to return to one same, to enter a place of calm with oneself, a place that is no longer disturbed by their sensations, their emotions and your thoughts, a place of connection with your own vital energy that gives joy and enthusiasm.

The origins

Samadeva Yoga in its present form has been spread by Idris Lahore and Ennea Tess Griffith, mainly in France, Russia and China in the last thirty years. Idris Lahore learned directly from certain brotherhoods of the Hakim Dervishes where these ancient movements were practiced.

A Dervish is a member of a Sufi brotherhood, the mystical tradition of Islam. Sufis, who are not exclusively Muslim, could be compared to the yogis of the Hindu tradition. The Hakim Sufi brotherhood is linked to the medical tradition.

The dervish origin is the closest, but the root of this traditional knowledge comes from previous civilizations, such as the Samara civilization (from the Samara Valley, in present-day Russia) which has been the cradle of many psycho-bodily knowledge and techniques. In homage to these origins, Samadeva Yoga has also been called Samara Yoga.

Samadeva Yoga is the search, through conscious movement, for what is deepest in oneself, one's own essence, to access a real harmony between body and spirit.

Samadeva Yoga and other types of Yoga

There are numerous forms of yoga. The best known of the yogas is Hindu yoga. But during the last fifty years, many forms of yoga have been rediscovered, such as Tibetan and Aztec, Chinese and Egyptian, Hebrew and Dervish yogas.

The Yoga of Samara is a form that is both modern and traditional of Raja Yoga – a current of yoga that is located in the quintessence of the four main currents of yoga that focus their action on a physical, emotional, intellectual or a_cc781905-5cde-3194 level. -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_level of adequate action (respectively Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Karma Yoga).

Samadeva Yoga is a gentle yoga method, which avoids all forms of contortions. It can be practiced at any age. Apart from its action on the spine, joints and muscles, it helps to harmonize all the organs and systems of the body.
